2008 HomeFront Selinger Awards

 

                                          Call for Nominations

Domestic violence is a social problem with far reaching consequences. HomeFront wishes to acknowledge and honour those frontline workers and volunteers who work collaboratively to break the cycle of domestic violence and abuse in Calgary.

 

Three (3) nominees meeting the HomeFront Selinger Awards criteria (see attached) will each be selected to receive an award for one of the following categories:

 

               (1) Frontline Practitioner—Justice/Law Enforcement
               (1) Frontline Practitioner—Community
               (1) Volunteer- Domestic Violence Sector

 

Frontline practitioner recipients will be eligible for a bursary of up to $2000 to facilitate and build on their relevant work in the sector.

Award winners will be honoured at the HomeFront Selinger Awards Celebration in November. Hurry and get your nominations in!

 

Calgary and Area agencies/systems are encouraged to nominate at least one person and are welcome to nominate up to three individuals.
